Consultation has concluded
We are currently undertaking a review of our community grants program and would greatly appreciate your feedback so that we can continue to provide grants that meet the needs of our community clubs and organisations now and into the future.
Our Community Grants Program is a key community strengthening initiative however the program has not changed much since 2013 and we want to make sure this program continues to meet the needs and aspirations of our community.
We want to make a more impactful program. To do this we need to identify community need for funds and how processes can be more efficient and streamlined, both for the community applying for grants and for council officers that support the program.
Our aims for this project are:
To help Council better understand the needs of our community and community organisations.
To identify what makes applying for a grant challenging, and find ways to simplify the process and make funding even more impactful.
To the right of this page in the Documents tab are Council's community funding policy and the Community Grants Guidelines which provide all the details about the current grants, please be sure to read through these and then give us your feedback on what's working and areas for improvement via the survey below, or in written format by requesting a hard copy feedback form.
