Art Competition & Exhibition celebrating the unveiling of the new Mt Gambier Airport


The unveiling of the Mount Gambier Regional Airport redevelopment is getting closer and the District Council of Grant is keen to include the community in celebrations when it opens. A gallery link between the arrivals hall and future security screening area will be used to display art. The first exhibition will be the finalists of a one-off art competition currently being organised by Council.


The Sky’s the Limit themed art competition is open to any person living in the Limestone Coast. Entries open Monday 14 September and close Thursday 15 October 2020.


The judging panel, including Dr Melentie Pandilovski and Dr Ruth Schubert, will choose the finalists whose work will form the exhibition. The exhibition will run until end of April 2021.
