Art Competition & Exhibition celebrating the unveiling of the new Mt Gambier Airport

The unveiling of the Mount Gambier Regional Airport redevelopment is getting closer and the District Council of Grant is keen to include the community in celebrations when it opens. A gallery link between the arrivals hall and future security screening area will be used to display art. The first exhibition will be the finalists of a one-off art competition currently being organised by Council.

The Sky’s the Limit themed art competition is open to any person living in the Limestone Coast. Entries open Monday 14 September and close Thursday 15 October 2020.

The judging panel, including Dr Melentie Pandilovski and Dr Ruth Schubert, will choose the finalists whose work will form the exhibition. Finalists will be invited to attend the official VIP opening of the new Airport Terminal in mid-November and winners will be announced at the event. The exhibition will run until March 2021.

Please see the Important Details tab for further information on how to enter including Terms & Conditions and a Fillable Entry Form. Alternatively you can contact the District Council of Grant on 8721 0444 or info@dcgrant.sa.gov.au
